Office Manager
Lisa, our office manager, is a true expert when it comes to navigating the complexities of dental insurance. She works tirelessly to ensure our patients receive the care they need while keeping their out-of-pocket costs as low as possible. Her dedication, attention to detail, and patient-first approach are things she is the most proud of. Lisa has been married 22 years to her best friend ever and has 2 adult children who are her world. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, camping, skiing, just being all together is when she's the happiest. She also loves a good book and a spot on the beach.
Roberta
Dental Administrator
Roberta joined the Strathcona dental team in 2024, bringing 15 years of experience in the dental industry. As a treatment coordinator, she is passionate about guiding patients through their treatment journey, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and comfortable.
Her goal is to make your dental experience as positive and stress free as possible from the initial consultation to post-treatment care. When she’s not in the office, Roberta enjoys an active lifestyle. She’s an avid hiker and love to explore everything the mountains have to offer.
Beth
Dental Administrator
Beth joined our team back in August 2025 after moving back to Calgary from the Lower Mainland. She has over 23 years of experience as a Dental Administrator not only in general dentistry, but also in both periodontal and endodontic offices. She also has over 17 years of prior experience in customer service working for companies such as Eddie Bauer and Disney, utilizing that gift of giving "the perfect guest experience" in her dental career. Beth integrated into our little dental family quickly, and her cheerful and helpful personality has resonated with our patients from the moment she arrived - we are happy to have her as part of our team!!
Liana
Registered Dental Hygienist
Liana is proud to be one of the registered dental hygienists here at Strathcona Dental Works since she started in 2011. Prior to graduating at the top of her dental hygiene class, she had previous education and experience in dental lab technology and received her bachelor's degree in biological sciences. In addition to caring for each patient's periodontal and preventive needs, her favorite part about being a dental hygienist is building long term relationships with the patients. When she is not at the office, her days are full of adventures with her husband and 4 children!
Darlene
Registered Dental Hygienist
Darlene is a graduate of the Dental Hygiene Program in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Alberta. With over 30 years of experience, she brings a high level of expertise and attention to detail to her practice. She values the individuality of each patient and takes pride in building professional relationships that support personalized care and positive health outcomes. Outside of work, Darlene enjoys walking along the Bow River with her dogs, exploring new recipes in the kitchen, and spending time in her garden. Most of all, she cherishes time spent with her family.
Tracy
Registered Dental Hygienist
Tracy feels grateful to be a part of such a kind, friendly and professional dental team! She graduated from the University of Manitoba and now has over 15 years of experience as a registered dental hygienist. She enjoys providing professional, gentle, yet thorough dental hygiene care for her patients. Her goal is to help make her patients feel comfortable and to have a positive experience at the dentist.
After living in Japan for a few years, she loves going back to enjoy the food and culture. She enjoys going for walks, spending time with family and friends.
Amanda
Registered Dental Assistant
Amanda has a passion for learning and patient care. Before becoming a dental assistant, she pursued studies in psychology, linguistics, and respiratory therapy. Amanda graduated from the dental assisting program at SAIT in July of 2025. Prior to graduating, Amanda completed her practicum at our sister office, Lake Chaparral Dental Care, and joined our team in November of 2025. She has a drive to learn new things and excel in every aspect of her patient care. She enjoys chatting with patients, and making them feel welcomed and at ease during every appointment. Outside of work, Amanda likes to paint, crochet, and spend time with her family and her 2 cats, Astro, and Comet.
Becky
Registered Dental Assistant
After graduating from dental school in Edmonton in 2017, Becky moved to Calgary to begin her career and has been passionate about patient care ever since. She chose the dental field because of her desire to help people—whether that means making them feel at ease during their appointments or helping them walk out with a confident smile. Known for her ability to make meaningful connections with patients, she brings compassion and a calming presence to the clinic. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with her family.
